Tre Bicchieri. Parla Luciana Migliaccio delle Antiche Cantine Migliaccio – Gambero Rosso

Fieno di Ponza Bianco 2017 of Antiche Cantine Migliaccio is awarded the Tre Bicchieri by the 2019 Gambero Rosso guide: “Isola di Ponza (Lazio), the vineyards are on terraces overlooking the sea, where the sun is straight and the days are heated. Just here Fieno di Ponza Bianco is born, Tre Bicchieri for the 2019 Italian wines Gambero Rosso 2019 guide. (…) Right on this island Emanuele VIttorio Migliaccio has got his vineyards, given to his ancestors in the sixteenth century by the King Carlo the Borboun. Difficult lands to work with, where the Migliaccio’s planted grape varieties from Campania such as biancolella, aglianico and piedirosso. Nowadays, Emanuele Vittorio and his wife Luciana carry on the ancient family tradition, when the Migliaccios went out at dawn to grow the vineyards, the same ones belonging to Antiche Cantine Migliaccio, giving today great wines. To make this happened they called the oenologist and winemaker Vincenzo Mercurio, the man of Fiano and many other wines.” (Antonella De Santis)
